Project 2023 – 2026
The Stage 1 refurbishment focuses on repurposing existing infrastructure to create contemporary learning spaces, including flexible, interdisciplinary spaces accommodating 30, 60 and 90 students to bespoke maker spaces, staff offices and meeting rooms. The fitout approach respects and shows off the existing building fabric, rather than over cladding with surplus materials and linings.
It delivers spaces for the students and teachers which are inclusive, future-ready environments, fostering learning, creativity, and connection. This alignment underscores our strength in delivering projects that meet and exceed the aspirations of a client who seeks to create an integrated, and socially responsive environment supporting diverse modes of learning.
The project also aligns with the University’s sustainability principles spanning energy efficiency, carbon neutral goals, material reuse, user comfort, and long-term adaptability.
Stage 2 delivers expansive formal and informal learning areas, a maker space for engineering students and a drop-down zone for staff.
