About this project
A contemporary restaurant and bar on the edge of Melbourne’s central business district opposite Treasury Gardens.
The restaurant/bar was squeezed into what was formerly an open colonnade of an existing office building that has converted into apartments.
The bar leads through to a two-level restaurant area; this space is dominated by a linking wall of red sticks that form the main visual ordering device to the space.
Reworked and redesigned in 2006, an extra mezzanine level space was added to the upper level and a cellar room at the ground level was inserted for small private dining.
