About this project
A low-rise residential development incorporating club, retail and recreation centre. The development is divided into two precincts located along the city park edge, overlooking the city of Nanning.
The architectural expression takes two forms; the first consisting of curved slab buildings with south/north ventilation and a light, delicate appearance reflecting the distinguishing features of southern Chinese architecture. The second building type consists of small tower apartment blocks adopting a loft style and creating a floating ‘villa in the air’ effect. Each unit has a double volume, semi-outdoor area.
