About this project
Wenzhou Centre is strategically located on one of the most visible sites on a small island in the centre of Qujiang River.
Developed during an invited design competition, the scheme comprises three towers offering a range of uses. The tallest tower of 280 metres sits on a retail podium, with office floors and 5 Star hotel above, along with a sky garden available for office workers at the top. The other towers of 140 metres are a mix of offices and residential apartments.
All three towers are connected via a sky bridge, while the horizontal structure atop the two shorter towers houses restaurant, bar and entertainment facilities.
The simplicity of the building form, together with the sky bridge creates a landmark design.
The design incorporates a number of environmentally sustainable principles including a high-performance facade.
